Our mission is to foster leadership, commitment, community, and teamwork in our pursuit of positive cultural, intellectual, and social development.
We are a charitable, focused and civic minded organization, dedicated to engaging in activities and projects that contribute to the well-being of our communities and their individuals.
While sitting on the deck, enjoying an evening of socializing at the Barnes house, brothers, George McGill and Napoleon Black pondered on ideas of how to improve some of the communities in the Fort Smith area and get involved to assist in educating our youth. Well, after a few good sticks and libations, the two decided to look into forming an organization of professional men with same thoughts and concerns. Within the next few weeks, the two reached out to Otis Pilgrim, Kelvin Johnson, and Burnett Robertson insisting they join their efforts. Of course, the first task was to come up with the name for the organization. Since their meetings were held sitting at a round table, so birthed the Fort Smith round table.
